Course Objectives |
This course mainly expounds the basic theories and thinking methods of competition law, and on this basis, discusses the anti-monopoly issues in the field of intellectual property. This course will focus on the three pillars of the substantive system of anti-monopoly law - the system of prohibiting the abuse of market dominant position, the system of prohibiting joint restrictions on competition and the system of controlling the concentration of enterprises. This course will also discuss the abuse of intellectual property rights in the process of the exercise. This course will teach the analytical methods of law and economics, and train students’ economic thinking ability. This course will cultivate students’ listening and speaking ability of legal English. This course will also carry out the analysis of representative cases and classroom discussion to improve students’ ability to analyze and solve legal problems.

Through learning, students should master the basic theories and concepts of competition law (anti-monopoly law), understand the legislative significance of competition law, understand the latest international competition law cases and development trends related to the regulation of competition law of intellectual property rights, and master the economic analysis methods of anti-monopoly law.
